7 มีนาคม 2563 - ฝ่ายเกษตร ประจำสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส ได้นำนายธีรวัฒน์ วงค์วรทัต  นายกสมาคมชาและกาแฟไทยและคณะ เข้าพบหารือกับ Mr. Mark Wu ประธานบริหาร บริษัท Top Quality Produce, Inc. พร้อมทั้งเยี่ยมชมกิจการของบริษัทฯ ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ที่เมือง Irwindale มลรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย ทั้งนี้ บริษัทฯ เป็นหนึ่งในผู้นำเข้าและกระจายสินค้าผลไม้สดและแช่แข็งจากเอเชียที่ใหญ่ที่สุดรายหนึ่งในตลาดสหรัฐฯ สินค้าของบริษัทฯ ส่วนใหญ่นำเข้าจากไต้หวันและไทย ปัจจุบันยังนำเข้าจาก เวียดนาม ญี่ปุ่น จีน และเม็กซิโกอีกด้วย โดยสินค้าที่นำเข้าจากไทย ได้แก่ ทุเรียน (สดและแช่แข็ง) มะพร้าว (สดและแช่แข็ง) มังคุด ลำไย และมะขาม เป็นต้น ในการนี้ ฝ่ายเกษตรฯ ได้หารือประเด็นปัญหา อุปสรรค์ และความร่วมมือในการส่งเสริมและประชาสัมพันธ์ผลไม้ของไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จักแพร่หลายมากยิ่งขึ้นในตลาดสหรัฐฯ

March 7, 2020 - Thailand Office of Agricultural Affairs, Los Angeles (OAA-LA) led Mr. Teerawat Wongvoratat, President of Thailand Coffee and Tea Association and his team to pay a visit to Top Quality Produce, Inc. and was received by Mr. Mark Wu, Chief Executive Officer. Top Quality Produce, Inc. is one of the largest importers of fresh and frozen produces from Asia, especially from Taiwan and Thailand which are distributed throughout the U.S. Currently the company imports produces from Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, China, and Mexico. The produces that the company imports from Thailand are Durian (Fresh and Frozen), young coconut (Fresh and Frozen), mangosteen, longan, and tamarind. In this occasion OAA-LA had a discussion with Mr. Mark Wu over potential, restrictions of importing produces from Thailand to the U.S. and also the possible cooperation for promoting and expanding of Thai produces in the U.S. Market.
