6 มีนาคม 2563 - ฝ่ายเกษตร ประจำสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส ได้ต้อนรับนางกนกเกศ ละอองศรี ผู้บริหารและผู้ก่อตั้งบริษัท มาร์ค ริณ ช็อกโกแลต จำกัด ซึ่งเป็นผู้ผลิตและส่งออกเมล็ดโกโก้และช็อคโกแลต ระดับพรีเมี่ยมของไทย ปัจจุบัน บริษัทฯ ส่งออกเมล็ดโกโก้ และผลิตภัณฑ์ช็อคโกแลต ไปยังประเทศในแถบยุโรปเป็นส่วนใหญ่ และยังประสงค์จะขยายตลาดมายังสหรัฐฯ อีกด้วย ในการนี้ ฝ่ายเกษตรฯ ได้หารือในประเด็นการเข้าร่วมออกงานแสดงสินค้า Natural Products Expo West ร่วมกับคูหาฝ่ายเกษตรฯ ในอนาคต หลังจากที่ในปีนี้ต้องยกเลิกเนื่องจากข้อกังวลของชุมชนที่มีต่อสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของไวรัส COVID-19

March 6, 2020 - Thailand Office of Agricultural Affairs, Los Angeles (OAA-LA) welcomed Ms. Kanokked La-ongsri, the executive and founder of Markrin Chocolate Co., Ltd. Which is the producer and exporter of premium cacao beans and chocolate products from Thailand. The company is currently exporting almost its product to the European countries and is looking for further market opportunity in the U.S. In this occasion, OAA-LA had a discussion with Ms. Kanokked over participating in exhibition at Natural Products Expo West (NPEW) or related trade show in the future, after this year NPEW has been canceled due to the great concern over the COVID -19 Pandemic.
