เมื่อวันที่ 17 - 18 สิงหาคม 2561 ฝ่ายการเกษตร ประจำสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส ได้เข้าร่วมงาน ¡Latin Food Fest 2018! ณ เมืองซานดิเอโก มลรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย ภายในบูธของฝ่ายการเกษตรฯ ได้ประชาสัมพันธ์สินค้าเกษตรและอาหารไทย โดยจัดสาธิตการทำอาหารลาตินจากวัตถุดิบอาหารและซอสปรุงรสจากไทยจำนวน 5 เมนูใหม่ ภายใต้แนวคิด ¡Latin Food with Thai Twist! พร้อมปรุงอาหารให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้ทดลองชิม โดยภายในงานคืนแรกเป็น Chef Night ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้เชฟอาหารลาตินได้เข้าร่วมงานและพบปะแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น ทั้งนี้ วัตถุดิบและซอสปรุงรสจากไทยได้รับความสนใจจากเชฟอาหารลาตินและมีสอบถามถึงเป็นอย่างมาก โดยเฉพาะซอสพริกศรีราชาและขมิ้น อนึ่ง ฝ่ายการเกษตรฯ เป็นบูธเดียวภายในงานที่นำเสนออาหารลาตินฟิวชั่นไทยจึงได้รับความสนใจจากผู้เข้าร่วมชมงานเป็นอันมาก

August 17 -18, 2018 - Thailand Office of Agricultural Affairs, Los Angeles joined the ¡Latin Food Fest 2018! in San Diego, CA under the theme “¡Latin Food with Thai Twist!”. At OAALA’s booth, there was a cooking demonstration of 5 new recipes of Latin food with Thai Ingredients as well as give away samples of young coconut, sweet tamarind and Fresh Turmeric imported from Thailand. During the Chef Night, Thai ingredients and sauces especially Sriracha sauce and fresh turmeric got the most attention and become the popular topic amongst chefs. Being the only booth presenting Latin fusion and Thai ingredients, the booth was packed and received a warm welcome and considerable interest from the spectators.
